About Beth Riso

Beth Riso

Beth Riso is a long, time resident of Nyack, NY, where she raised her daughter, who now has a daughter of her own. Beth is also a local real estate broker, and a former NYC school teacher of 20 years. Throughout her busy life, Beth attempted to study painting. She took painting and drawing classes at Rockland Community College, Westchester County Art Center, and most of all; Rockland Center for the Arts. Her style can be considered "realism," with a touch of impressionism. Her current idol is Monet. She loves his graceful, gentle style, combined with realistic perspectives, and colors that are beautifully impressioned. Beth paints a variety of subjects, including, portraits, landscapes, still lives, street scenes and beach...
